New triple therapy aims to shrink tough colorectal tumors before surgery

Summary

This study tests a combination of chemotherapy, an immunotherapy drug, and a diabetes drug (sitagliptin) in people with a specific type of advanced colorectal cancer. The goal is to shrink tumors before surgery. About 138 adults aged 18-75 with locally advanced, non-metastatic colorectal cancer will take part. The study is not yet recruiting.
