Scientists test new drug duo to fight Virus-Driven cancers

NCT ID NCT04902443

Summary

This early-stage study aims to find a safe dose of two drugs, pomalidomide and nivolumab, for adults whose cancers are caused by viruses. It is for people with cancers like Kaposi sarcoma, certain lymphomas, and HPV-linked cancers that have not responded to standard treatments. The goal is to see if this combination can better control these difficult-to-treat cancers by boosting the immune system's attack.
