New combo therapy aims to shrink tough colorectal tumors
NCT ID NCT06948448
First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug (ONO-4578) to a standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimen can shrink tumors better than standard care alone in people with advanced colorectal cancer that has a specific marker (PD-L1 positive). About 144 adults who have not had prior treatment for their advanced cancer will receive either the new combination or standard therapy. The main goals are to see how many patients respond and to monitor side effects.
