Three-Pronged attack on tough colon cancers before surgery

NCT ID NCT07365592

Summary

This study is testing a new three-drug combination given before surgery for locally advanced colorectal cancer. The goal is to see if adding an immunotherapy drug and a diabetes drug (sitagliptin) to standard chemotherapy can shrink tumors more effectively. The trial will first check the safety of the combination and then compare its effectiveness to standard chemotherapy alone in about 138 patients.
