New drug combo trial offers hope for advanced colon cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07309289

Summary

This study compares two different chemotherapy combinations for people newly diagnosed with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread. Researchers want to see if a newer combination called NALIRIFOX works better and is safer than the standard FOLFOX treatment, when both are given with targeted therapy drugs. The trial will involve 144 patients across multiple hospitals to measure how long the cancer stays controlled and how patients respond.
