New Triple-Drug attack on blood cancer aims for deeper remission

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new immune-boosting drug (epcoritamab) to a standard two-drug treatment can lead to better and longer-lasting results for people with newly diagnosed chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). The goal is to see if this three-drug combination can eliminate nearly all traces of cancer cells, a state called 'minimal residual disease-negative.' The study will enroll 33 adults who have not yet received any treatment for their CLL/SLL.
