New hope for advanced cervical cancer: Triple-Drug combo trial launches

NCT ID NCT07177716

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This clinical trial is testing whether a combination of two immunotherapy drugs (LB1410 and LB4330) plus a targeted therapy (lenvatinib) can shrink tumors or slow disease progression in people with advanced cervical cancer that has returned or spread. The study will compare this new combo against standard chemotherapy chosen by the doctor. About 120 participants will be enrolled, and the main goals are to see how many patients respond and how long the response lasts.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

LB1410 (an immunotherapy drug) plus lenvatinib (a targeted therapy), with or without LB4330 (another immunotherapy drug)

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a new treatment option for people with advanced cervical cancer that has stopped responding to standard therapies.

What could go wrong

This is an early-to-mid stage trial with only 120 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The combination of drugs may cause significant side effects, and there is no guarantee it will work better than existing chemotherapy.
