Sharper scans: new CT tech could make cancer radiation more precise

NCT ID NCT06681233

First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study is testing a new type of CT scan called HyperSight, built into a radiation therapy machine, to see if it takes clearer pictures than the current standard. About 50 adults with various cancers (head and neck, breast, lung, liver, or others) will get extra scans during their normal treatment. The goal is to see if the better images can help doctors plan and deliver radiation more accurately.
