New weapon against advanced cancer: trial tests Three-Pronged attack

NCT ID NCT05039632

Summary

This study is testing a new three-part treatment for patients with advanced cancer that has spread to the lungs or liver. The goal is to see if a drug called NBTXR3, which is injected directly into a tumor, makes cancer cells more sensitive to radiation. Patients also receive an immunotherapy drug to help their immune system fight the cancer. Researchers want to find out if this combination is safe and can help control the disease.
