Virus therapy trial targets tough cancers

NCT ID NCT07154108

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of a new two-part treatment for people with advanced head & neck cancer or a type of esophageal cancer that has returned or spread. The treatment involves injecting a modified virus directly into a tumor to block its blood supply, while also giving an immunotherapy drug by IV to help the immune system fight the cancer. The main goal is to see how safe this combination is and what side effects it might cause.
