New scan aims to sharpen cancer detection
NCT ID NCT05556473
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new imaging tracer to see if it can help doctors better tell the difference between cancer and normal tissue on a PET/CT scan. Researchers will give the tracer to 24 adults with specific cancers, including brain, breast, and rectal tumors, to see how much of it the tumors absorb. The goal is to gather information that could lead to better ways to monitor cancer and plan treatment in the future.
