New hope for kids with tough cancers: experimental drug combo enters trial

Summary
This study is testing a new two-drug combination for children, teens, and young adults whose solid tumors or a rare liver cancer called fibrolamellar carcinoma have come back or stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goals are to find the safest and most effective dose and to see if the treatment can help control the cancer. Researchers will also closely monitor how the body processes the drugs and what side effects occur.
