First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This early-phase study aims to develop a new blood test that detects cancer by measuring specific enzyme activity in plasma. Researchers will compare enzyme levels in 120 patients with localized breast, lung, or pancreatic cancer against 100 healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if this non-invasive method can accurately identify cancer, potentially leading to earlier diagnosis.
