New drug aims to tame chronic lung disease Flare-Ups
NCT ID NCT07201051
Summary
This study is testing a new drug, GSK3862995B, to see if it can help adults with bronchiectasis, a long-term lung condition. The main goal is to see if the drug can reduce the number of times a person's symptoms suddenly get much worse, known as exacerbations. About 400 participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of two doses of the drug or a placebo (an inactive substance) to compare results.
