Breakthrough masks aim to make breathing easier for hospital patients
NCT ID NCT06483984
Summary
This study is testing three different breathing masks to see which one helps patients with high carbon dioxide levels breathe more easily. Researchers will measure how much effort patients need to breathe, their comfort levels, and how well the masks remove carbon dioxide. The trial involves 20 patients who are currently experiencing breathing difficulties with elevated carbon dioxide levels.
