Trial tests new life-saving breathing aid for tiny newborns
NCT ID NCT07419438
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific breathing device, called a supraglottic airway, is practical to use as the first choice for helping premature babies breathe right after birth. It involves about 20 premature infants born between 29 and 34 weeks who need breathing support. The main goal is to see if doctors can successfully use this device during the critical first minutes of life.
