New marking technique aims to sharpen breast cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT06903468
Summary
This study is testing a new way to mark the area where a breast tumor was removed during surgery. The goal is to help doctors more accurately target radiation therapy afterward and to better identify if any additional tissue needs to be removed. It involves 50 adults with early-stage breast cancer who are having breast-conserving surgery with reconstruction.
