New scan could spot hidden breast cancer spread
NCT ID NCT06335069
Summary
This study is testing whether a newer type of PET scan (using a tracer called 68Ga-FAPI-46) is better at finding where estrogen-positive breast cancer has spread compared to the standard scan (18F-FDG). Researchers will enroll 20 women with this type of breast cancer to see if the new scan finds more cancer spots. The goal is to help doctors choose the most accurate scan for better treatment planning.
