New Helmet-Style brain scanner aims to pinpoint seizure origins for better surgery
NCT ID NCT07281222
Summary
This study is testing a new type of brain scanner designed to more accurately find the specific area of the brain causing seizures in people with epilepsy. The goal is to improve planning for surgery that could control or cure seizures. Researchers will compare the new, more compact scanner to older methods in 70 children and adults to see if it's better at locating the problem area.
