Could a simple blood test replace prostate biopsies?
NCT ID NCT07144228
Summary
This study is testing a new blood test called HeLP™ that analyzes proteins in platelets to see if it can better detect prostate cancer and assess its seriousness. Researchers are enrolling 300 men aged 40+ who are already being checked for possible prostate cancer. Participants will give a small extra blood sample during their regular care to compare the new test against current methods like PSA tests and MRI scans.
