Breakthrough blood test could spot Alzheimer's early
NCT ID NCT04850053
Summary
This study is testing a new blood test designed to improve the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will check if the test can accurately tell Alzheimer's apart from normal aging and other types of dementia by looking for tiny, harmful protein clumps in the blood. They will enroll 1,500 people, including those with Alzheimer's, other dementias, and healthy older adults, to see how well the test works.
