First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares a new treatment (venetoclax plus CACAG) to the standard chemotherapy for adults newly diagnosed with intermediate- or high-risk acute myeloid leukemia (AML). About 160 participants aged 14 to 75 will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The main goal is to see if the new combination leads to a higher rate of complete remission after the first round of treatment.
