Breakthrough device aims to stop dangerous oxygen drops in obese patients during common medical scans
NCT ID NCT06796764
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device designed to help obese patients breathe better and maintain safe oxygen levels while they are sedated for stomach and colon exams. The device combines several functions like oxygen support and airway management into one tool. Researchers will compare how often patients experience low oxygen levels with the new device versus standard care.
