Spray-On chemo tested for Tough-to-Treat ovarian cancer
NCT ID NCT07273396
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new way to deliver chemotherapy directly into the abdomen for women with recurrent ovarian cancer that has stopped responding to standard platinum drugs. Doctors will spray a chemotherapy drug (paclitaxel) as a fine mist during a minimally invasive procedure, aiming to better target cancer that has spread within the abdominal cavity. The main goals are to find the safest and most effective dose and to see if this approach can help control the disease in patients with limited treatment options.
