Summary

This study compares a new device called the NeVa Stent Retriever to standard devices for treating strokes caused by large blood clots in the brain. Researchers want to see if the NeVa device is better at reopening blocked arteries and if it is as safe as the standard devices. The study involves 800 adults who had a stroke and were treated within 8 hours of symptoms starting.
