Virtual reality treadmill could boost stroke recovery

Summary
This study looks at how much walking practice on a special treadmill (split-belt) with virtual reality stroke survivors can handle in early recovery. About 72 people who had their first stroke within the past three months will try different amounts of training to find the safest and most tolerable dose. The goal is to improve walking and balance, helping them regain independence.
