Veterans try brain training to ease headaches and sleep problems after concussion
NCT ID NCT04195685
Summary
This study tested whether a non-invasive brainwave training technique called neurofeedback could help veterans experiencing long-term symptoms after a mild concussion. 87 veterans with chronic headaches, sleep issues, and attention problems were randomly assigned to receive either the neurofeedback training or be in a control group. Researchers measured changes in headache impact, sleep quality, attention, and overall well-being over several months to see if the training provided meaningful relief.
