Summary
This study looked at 29 adults with a serious heart valve infection (infectious endocarditis) to see if adding a brain MRI and a neurological exam would change their treatment plan. The goal was to find hidden brain damage that might affect decisions about surgery or medication. Results could help doctors better tailor care for these patients.
