First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study explores whether brain stimulation can help people quickly achieve a meditative state, normally requiring years of training. 48 healthy adults will undergo brain stimulation while wearing an EEG cap and performing a guided meditation task. Researchers will measure changes in ego-disengagement and brain activity to see if this approach can boost openness and wellbeing.
