First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study explores whether brain stimulation can help people quickly achieve a deep meditative state, normally requiring years of training. Twelve healthy adults who already meditate will wear a special cap to measure brain activity while receiving stimulation and performing guided meditation tasks. The goal is to see if this approach can boost feelings of openness and wellbeing.
