Brain training boosts goalkeeper performance?

NCT ID NCT07589816

First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week neuro-athletic training program could improve balance, strength, and agility in elite soccer goalkeepers. Sixteen male goalkeepers were split into two groups: one did the brain-focused training plus their usual practice, while the other only did their usual practice. Researchers measured changes in balance, explosive strength, grip strength, and agility before and after the program.
