Nerve wrap aims to ease shoulder pain after neck cancer surgery

Summary

This study tests whether wrapping the nerve that controls the shoulder with a special protective material during neck cancer surgery can reduce pain and improve shoulder function. About 90 adults with head and neck cancer will take part. Researchers will check their shoulder function one year after surgery.
