Zap at the ankle to stop leaks? new hope for kids with spina bifida

NCT ID NCT06025734

Summary

This study is testing if a gentle electrical stimulation of a nerve near the ankle can help reduce urinary leakage in children with spina bifida. Kids aged 8-18 will learn to use the device at a clinic and then do the 30-minute treatments at home for 6 weeks. The goal is to see if this non-invasive approach can improve bladder control and quality of life.
