Summary
This study is testing if an implanted nerve stimulator, used to treat obstructive sleep apnea, can also improve blood sugar control and markers of heart disease. It will involve 30 adults with moderate-to-severe sleep apnea who cannot tolerate standard CPAP mask therapy. Researchers will measure changes in glucose levels, blood pressure, and other metabolic factors to see if the device helps reduce long-term health risks.
