Ear zaps for kidney woes? NYU tests new device

Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a non-invasive device that gently stimulates a nerve through the ear can help regulate the nervous system in people with chronic kidney disease. The main goals are to see if the device is safe and tolerable for patients to use for two weeks. Researchers will also check if it improves a measure of nervous system function related to heart rate.
