Ear clip trial aims to help hearts in kidney disease
NCT ID NCT05981183
Summary
This small pilot study is testing a device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear to see if it's safe and tolerable for people with chronic kidney disease. Researchers will enroll 20 patients to see if the device affects heart rate and blood pressure. The goal is to gather early data to plan a larger future study that could reduce heart-related risks in this population.
