Finger nerve injury study: could a simple cast beat surgery?

Summary

This study compares two treatments for nerve injuries in the fingers: surgery or wearing a cast. Researchers want to find out which approach helps restore feeling and movement best. 166 adults with a single-finger nerve injury will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments and followed for a year.
