NCT ID NCT05461092
First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a specific type of nerve block (TLIP block) can help older adults (65+) recover better after spinal fusion surgery. The blocks are given before surgery to reduce pain, opioid use, and confusion (delirium) after the operation. The main goal is to see if a larger trial is possible, so only 50 people will take part.
