Nerve block may stall prostate cancer spread in High-Risk patients

Summary

This study tests whether injecting a nerve-blocking agent around the prostate can slow or stop cancer growth in men with high-risk prostate cancer. About 21 participants will receive one or two injections before their scheduled prostate removal surgery. The goal is to see if reducing nerve activity in the prostate can delay disease progression.
