NCT ID NCT06734975

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a numbing injection (nerve block) given during vocal cord surgery can reduce pain, coughing, and improve voice recovery afterward. About 28 adults with benign vocal cord growths will receive either the numbing medicine or a saltwater placebo. Researchers will track pain scores, cough severity, and voice quality in the days after surgery.
