Nerve block may speed recovery after colon cancer surgery

Summary

This study tests whether a nerve block (superior hypogastric plexus block) can help people recover better after laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer. About 170 adults having this surgery will be randomly assigned to receive the nerve block or not. The main goal is to see if the block improves quality of recovery, measured by a patient questionnaire.
