Nerve block tested to ease pain and cut opioid use after surgery

NCT ID NCT06309693

Summary

This study tested if a specific nerve block could better manage pain after surgery for pelvic organ prolapse. It compared the nerve block against a standard pain management protocol. The main goals were to see if the block lowered patients' pain scores and reduced their need for opioid painkillers right after surgery.
