First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a specific nerve block (anterior femoral cutaneous nerve block) to standard pain relief reduces pain after total knee replacement. 58 adults who had knee surgery under spinal anesthesia took part. Researchers compared two pain-block methods and asked about pain at rest and with movement, as well as pain at the drain site.
