Targeted nerve block could ease agony after hip fractures
NCT ID NCT06183541
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific nerve block, given before hip fracture surgery, helps control pain better after the operation. Researchers will compare 70 patients who receive the nerve block to those who get standard pain care. They will measure pain levels, need for extra pain medicine, how soon patients can walk, and time spent in the hospital.
