Could a simple injection make fibroid treatment less painful?

NCT ID NCT04126824

Summary

This study is testing if adding a steroid to a standard pain-blocking injection helps reduce pain for longer after a uterine fibroid treatment procedure. It involves 28 women who are having a procedure called uterine artery embolization (UAE). Researchers will compare pain levels and painkiller use between women who get the standard injection and those who get the injection with the steroid added.
