Eye scan study tests nerve block for brain injury
NCT ID NCT06797752
Summary
This study aims to understand if a common nerve block procedure affects the smallest blood vessels in the eye. Researchers will scan the eyes of 50 adults with severe brain injuries before and after they receive the nerve block as part of their standard care. The goal is to gather information that could help future treatments, but this study itself does not provide a direct treatment benefit.
