Can a simple test predict if 'Freezing' nerves will ease your pain?

NCT ID NCT07289984

Summary

This study aims to see if a patient's positive response to a temporary diagnostic nerve block can predict how well they will respond to a longer-lasting treatment called cryoneurolysis. Cryoneurolysis uses extreme cold to temporarily block nerves and reduce pain or muscle stiffness. Researchers will observe 50 adults with chronic pain or spasticity to understand this connection and measure changes in pain and daily function.
