Summary
This study compared two types of nerve blocks—Erector Spinae Plane Block and Fascia Iliaca Compartment Block—for pain relief in adults after femur (thigh bone) surgery. 92 patients received one of the two blocks before surgery. Researchers measured how long pain relief lasted and how much extra pain medication was needed. The goal is to find which block provides better pain control and reduces opioid use.
