First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving a targeted drug (olaparib) plus hormone therapy for 6 months before prostate removal surgery can eliminate or shrink tumors in men with high-risk prostate cancer that has specific gene changes (HRR alterations). About 32 men will take the drugs, then have surgery. The goal is to see if the cancer is gone or very small in the removed prostate.
