New combo aims to shrink prostate tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests whether giving a targeted drug (olaparib) plus hormone therapy for 6 months before prostate removal can eliminate or shrink tumors in men with aggressive prostate cancer. Participants must have specific gene changes (HRR alterations). After surgery, doctors will check for any remaining cancer and monitor recovery. The goal is to improve outcomes for high-risk patients.
